We are delighted to announce that one of our apprentices, Ethan Davies, has been nominated for the prestigious Swansea Bay Construction Support Group (SBCSG) Apprentice Awards 2024. This recognition is a testament to Ethan’s dedication, hard work, and growing skill set.
The SBCSG Apprentice Awards celebrate the most skilled and talented apprentices from across the South Wales region. The awards ceremony, set to take place on June 27, 2024, at the Swansea.com Stadium, will honour the achievements of apprentices who represent the future of the construction industry. Hosted by Kev Johns, the event promises an evening of celebration, including a three-course meal and the presentation of 17 awards – 15 for each of the nominees and one each for best overall technical apprentice and best overall trade apprentice.
The SBCSG is a collaborative network of diverse contractors located within Neath, Port Talbot, and Swansea. As a grant-funded, non-profit organisation, SBCSG is committed to providing cost-effective training and development opportunities to its members. By recognising the accomplishments of apprentices, the SBCSG aims to promote the construction industry and highlight the benefits of pursuing a career in this vital sector.

His proficiency in AutoCAD has not only improved his efficiency but has also enhanced his ability to handle complex tasks with precision.
Ethan’s comprehensive understanding of above and below ground fuel infrastructure, along with the associated civil works, has been pivotal in helping execute installations and maintenance projects. His on-site experience has further enriched his knowledge of site setup and safety protocols, enabling him to create detailed site layouts with confidence.
In the maintenance department, Ethan has excelled in performing detailed take-offs and pricing. His ability to generate accurate quotations has resulted in numerous successful orders, making him an invaluable asset to our team. Known for his professionalism and impeccable presentation, Ethan consistently delivers outstanding results in every task he undertakes.
