We are delighted to announce the promotion of Ellie Murphy to Sales and Marketing Manager, recognising her significant contribution to the business since joining the company in October 2020.
Now marking more than five years with us, Ellie has progressed from Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator into a senior role that reflects both the breadth of her responsibilities and the impact she continues to make across the organisation. Her role has evolved organically over time, expanding in line with the growth of the business and her own professional development.
Ellie plays a pivotal role in the coordination of projects and enquiries, overseeing sales and tender activity, supporting bid meetings, managing KPIs and reporting, and monitoring project progress across the master programme. Alongside this, she has been instrumental in shaping Premier’s marketing activity — from company advertising, in-house promotional materials, social media and presentations, to organising company events, customer satisfaction surveys, and internal initiatives including health, wellbeing and charity campaigns.
Her responsibilities have also grown from a leadership perspective. Ellie now line manages Emily Picton, Contracts and Marketing Assistant, and works closely with teams across the business to ensure sales, marketing and project information is aligned, accurate and delivered effectively.
Commenting on Ellie’s promotion, Steve Evans, Managing Director at Premier Forecourts and Construction, said:
“Ellie brings positivity to everything she does and has a natural talent for sales and marketing. Since joining the business, she has taken ownership of her role, stepping up and expanding her responsibilities in a way that has made a genuine difference.
“Her creativity, commercial awareness, and strong work ethic have been instrumental to our continued growth, and she’s an extremely valued member of the team. This promotion to Sales and Marketing Manager is a well-deserved recognition of the impact she’s already made and the exciting potential ahead.”
Reflecting on her time at Premier, Ellie highlighted the supportive culture and people as key to her development:
“The support I’ve received from the leadership team has been incredible. There’s a genuine open-door policy here, and I’ve never worked anywhere with such easy access to senior management. Just as importantly, my colleagues are what make each day enjoyable — the people here really are some of the best.”
During Ellie’s time with the business, Premier Forecourts and Construction has continued to evolve, embracing new technology and digital systems to improve efficiency, while adapting to changes in the market. The company now delivers a growing mix of electric vehicle infrastructure projects alongside more traditional fuel-related work, reflecting both industry change and Premier’s expanding capabilities.
Looking ahead, Ellie is keen to further develop both her role and the company’s wider profile. Her plans include increasing focus on community engagement projects and undertaking drone training to support marketing activity, alongside continuing to build her skills and experience as the business grows.
