At Premier Forecourts and Construction, we believe in supporting our community. Just before Christmas, our incredible team came together to raise £425 for two vital local causes: Matthew’s House and The Salvation Army.
The money was raised through our annual Christmas hamper raffle. Staff were asked to donate what they could – Christmas essentials, chocolates, alcohol and other treats – alongside some beautifully crafted hampers purchased by Premier. These were then raffled at our end of year get together, we had a lot of fun whilst contributing to two crucial local causes.
Matthew’s House, based in Swansea, provides vital support for people who are homeless or vulnerable. From offering hot meals and a listening ear to providing essential services such as laundry and shower facilities, the charity is a beacon of hope for many in need. Similarly, The Salvation Army’s work in Swansea includes supporting homelessness services and local foodbanks, ensuring that those facing hardship have access to food and shelter.
Our annual fundraising initiative focuses on making a difference in the lives of those who need it most and helping these organisations continue their critical work, particularly during the winter months when the challenges of homelessness are most acute.
We are proud of the dedication and generosity of our staff, who always come together to support this cause. Their contributions reflect the caring and community-focused values that underpin our company.
As we move into the new year, we remain committed to supporting charitable initiatives in our local area and encouraging positive change in the communities we serve. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our staff and to everyone who participated in the raffle.
