We’re pleased to confirm the successful handover of Shell Wisbech, following a comprehensive site upgrade delivered by our construction and forecourt engineering teams.

Project Overview

This multi‑disciplinary redevelopment included a full suite of structural, retail, and fuel infrastructure enhancements to modernise the site and improve customer experience. Key elements of the upgrade included:

• Complete Co‑op shop upgrade and extension
  Enhanced retail space designed to improve customer flow and maximise in‑store capacity.
• Installation of 2no new 70,000L fuel tanks
  Increasing fuel storage resilience and supporting long‑term operational demand.
• Relocation of offset fills
  Optimised for improved accessibility and safer tanker movements.
• All new pipework for the upgraded forecourt
  Ensuring full compliance, increased efficiency, and long‑term system reliability.
• New HGV pumps
  Purpose‑built infrastructure to support commercial vehicle fuelling.
• Additional forecourt enhancements
  Including new surfacing and an upgraded interceptor to future‑proof drainage and environmental performance.

Project Outcome

The site is now fully operational, with all works delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme. A big thank you to everyone involved for ensuring a smooth and successful handover.
