It was a great start on Sunday 22 May 2022 for some of the Premier team and their family and friends. The 8-mile charity walk was planned along the beautiful coastal path of Swansea from Mumbles to Caswell Bay, but the steep hills, undulations and bends made it slightly more challenging.
On the day, the team was made up of 12 walkers who took time out of their weekend to join us. The ultimate goal was to raise as much money as possible for a worthy cause. In addition to this, we also raffled a brand-new iPhone 13 donated by Premier to help raise funds. The total was a fantastic £1000.
The Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity. It raises awareness of the illness, campaigns for change, and funds research to find a cure and support people living with dementia.
We fully support the charity in achieving its goals and hope the money raised on the walk will help it combat many of the preconceptions associated with the illness, and support those affected and their families.
