Shell Ching Little Waitrose

Premier Forecourts and Construction is pleased to announce the completion of one of our latest projects Shell’s 59th Little Waitrose in Chingford, London.

The project started on February 8th with a programme duration of 20 weeks and was handed over to the client within the agreed time frame.

The main scope of works included:

  • The demolition of the existing sales building
  • Construction of a new 125m2 sales building
  • Installation of a Little Waitrose shop fit
  • Four new 175kw – Tridium Electric Vehicle chargers
  • The replacement of all fuel pumps and infrastructure throughout the forecourt
  • Installation of new PV Solar panels to the shop roof and canopy

The demolition of the existing sales building paved the way for a new 125m2 structure, which now houses a fresh Little Waitrose.

The team installed four new 175kw electric vehicle charging bays, supporting electric vehicles across the country. The versatile charging facilities allow motorists to power their electric vehicles using a rapid and renewable energy source. Customers, both local and passing through can now enjoy the range of products that Little Waitrose has to offer whilst charging their vehicles.

The forecourt refresh included the replacement of the fuel pumps to Tokheim Q510. Which efficiently deliver Shell’s quality fuels including V. Power, Unleaded, and Diesel for customers using traditional fossil fuels. The space above the canopy and sales building roof was utilised to include PV solar panels to capture sunlight, for cleaner energy use.

We are extremely proud of this most recent project and to be a part of the established and ongoing relationship between Shell and Waitrose.
