Here at Premier Forecourts and Construction, we are delighted, once again, to have completed another important project for our much-valued client MFG at the Esso Bloody Oaks site in Stamford, Lincolnshire.
The project commenced on January 4th and was completed on February 5th, 2021.
This was a 5-week phased program, to enable the site to remain open and trading throughout the works, due to it being a busy service stop on the A1 in Stamford.
The project included the installation of new fuel pumps and pump Islands, as well as renewing all the underground supply pipework. As part of the work, our Premier Forecourts and Construction team also carried out various repairs to the existing forecourt.
As with all the other projects we’ve completed during the past year, we implemented our bespoke coronavirus site operating procedures to enable safe working conditions – particularly necessary as the site remained open to the public. These procedures ensured we were able to deliver the project quickly and efficiently whilst keeping our staff and the wider public safe.
The contracts manager on the project was Steve Phillips, who, along with the rest of the Premier Forecourts and Construction team, did an excellent job in ensuring that the project was finished as efficiently as ever, and to our usual extremely high standards.
Steve Evans, our Managing Director, said:
“It’s great to have completed another comprehensive project for our client MFG at the Esso site in Stamford. Keeping the project running with minimal impact on the site’s ability to continue as a busy service station was vital, so we’re very proud that we were able to work so efficiently to complete the project to schedule, and such a high standard.”
