We’re delighted to announce another successful handover of a comprehensive development that was completed on behalf of bp, in St. Ives this month.
The project was set up on Monday 1, February and completed on Wednesday 17, February 2021, with the first week seeing the removal of the old pumps and the installation of new pipework and preparatory groundworks.
The second week saw the installation and commissioning of the new pumps. Despite adverse weather, the new pumps were placed on the islands at the end of the second week and covered to allow concrete around them, when the weather allowed. Pointing of the islands was completed on Tuesday 16th, and commissioning fully completed on Wednesday 17th, when the site was handed back to the retailer and fully re-opened.
The contract manager for this project was Glenn Jones and the site manager Paul Evans.
